Page 1 of 2 Cruisin With A Heart 2009 November 20, 2009 Mrs. Penny Spatzer Dear Penny: Thank you again for Route 66 Club’s generous support of the Fisher House program, both through the 2009 "Cruisin’ with a Heart for the Troops" Car Show and your continued fundraising for next year. Here at Fisher House Foundation, we believe that it is important to show those who have dedicated their lives through service in our Armed Forces that we recognize and appreciate their significant contributions and sacrifices, and care about them, particularly in their time of need. We were already so impressed and honored by the total of $10,085 raised during the event in August, and the additional $1,000.00 you have already committed for 2010 is an exciting start! Your efforts are truly inspiring, but I would expect no less, given the compassionate and caring individuals I met at the August Car Show. You, your Club Officers, and your members are truly "Cruisin’ with a Heart."
